Candle mold silicone belongs to a type of liquid silicone, consisting of two components: A component is silicone, and B component is curing agent. This product has two types: addition molding and condensation molding. The addition molding mold silicone belongs to environmentally friendly silicone, and the ratio between silicone and curing agent is 1:1; The condensed silicone is an industrial grade silicone, with a ratio of 100:2 or 100:3 between the silicone and the curing agent. It can be cured at room temperature or heated for molding.

Features:

Operation method:

1. Mix and stir the silica gel and curing agent in a specific proportion (1:1 for added silica gel; 100:2-3 for condensed silica gel);
2. Put the mixed and stirred mold silicone into a vacuum machine for vacuum exhaust bubble treatment (if there is no vacuum machine, the curing time of the silicone can be extended to naturally eliminate the bubbles, but the effect of this exhaust bubble is not very ideal);
3. Spray (apply) release agent to the already made mold and mold frame, and fix the mold in the middle. Slowly pour the silicone gel that has passed through the bubbles into the mold frame until it completely covers the mold, and then wait quietly for curing;
4. After the silicone is completely cured, demoulding is carried out, and then edge burrs are treated to complete the production of the silicone mold.
Kind reminder: It is recommended to leave the product for 24 hours after demolding before putting it into production use, which is beneficial for increasing the number of mold turns and the service life of the silicone mold.

Precautions:
1.To prevent changes in the physical properties of silicone, it is recommended not to add silicone oil;
2. The configured silicone should be used up within the operating time as much as possible to avoid waste of raw materials;
3. Silica gel and curing agent must be evenly mixed to prevent non curing of silica gel due to uneven mixing;
4. The added silicone should not come into contact with any condensed silicone to prevent "poisoning" of the silicone and prevent it from not solidifying;
5. The added silica gel should not come into contact with water, impurities, organic tin catalysts, and compounds containing nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, etc. These substances should not be mixed during use, otherwise the silica gel will also experience "poisoning" phenomenon;
Smoking should be prohibited during operation.

The operational time and demolding time after the ratio of silicone and curing agent:
When the amount of curing agent added is 1%, the colloid will still flow after 2.5 hours and can be demolded after 6-8 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 2%, the colloid will still flow within 50-1 hour, and demolding can be carried out within 2-3 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 3%, the colloid will still flow after 28 to 30 minutes, and demolding can be carried out after 1.5 to 2 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 4%, the colloid will still flow within 10-15 minutes and can be demolded within 1-1.5 hours.
