What is the use method of platinum vulcanizing agent
Mar 31,2023 Hanast
HANAST C-80A and C-80B are silicone platinum vulcanizing agents, which are platinum addition molding silicone vulcanizing agents. The cross-linked silicone products can meet FDA requirements. There are two methods for using platinum vulcanizing agents: mold free hot air sulfur addition and oil pressure type sulfur addition.
Moldless hot air sulfur addition: for high tensile silica gel raw material (i.e., silica gel filled with fumed silica)
1. Recommended addition scale:
C-80B:2.0~2.5%
C-80A:0.5~0.6%
2. Sulfur addition conditions: When using IR (6m), the temperature must be constant at ± 5 ℃.
3. Preliminary sulfur addition stage: use IR heating to rapidly pass through sulfur addition at 190~200 ℃ (40~60 seconds).
4. Complete the sulfur addition stage: Conduct sulfur addition at the following temperatures using silica gel that has passed the preliminary sulfur addition process to achieve a complete sulfur addition process.
Methods of use of platinum vulcanizing agents.
Method of using platinum vulcanizing agent - mold free hot air sulfur addition: for ordinary silica gel raw materials (silica gel filled with precipitated white carbon black)
1. Recommended addition scale:
C-80B:1.5~2.0%
C-80A:0.5~0.6%
2. Sulfur addition conditions: When using IR (6m), the temperature must be constant at ± 5 ℃.
3. Preliminary sulfur addition stage: heat with IR at 140 ℃ (40-50 seconds) to quickly pass the IR preliminary sulfur addition.
4. Complete sulfur addition stage: Complete sulfur addition process is achieved by initially adding sulfur to silica gel and then performing the following sulfur addition temperatures.
Method of using platinum vulcanizing agent - adding sulfur to oil pressure machines
1. Recommended addition scale:
C-80B:1.0~1.5%
C-80A:0.5%
2. Recommended mold temperature: 115~135 ℃ (200~300 seconds)
3. Suggested sulfur addition time: The customer may adjust it appropriately depending on the thickness or type of the product.
