How to store liquid silicone gel

Properly storing liquid silicone can ensure that the material quality of silicone remains unchanged, thereby improving its service life and accuracy. The storage of silicone mainly involves the following aspects:
1、 Storage sealing. Due to the high sensitivity and hydrophilicity of silicone, it is easily damaged once exposed to external influences. Therefore, the storage of silicone must be mainly sealed, avoiding contact with air, water, temperature changes, and other substances as much as possible. During storage, silicone should not be exposed to the atmosphere, nor should it be mixed with other types of liquids. In addition, the storage environment of silicone is also crucial, and it is advisable to avoid storing it in direct sunlight, humid areas, or high-temperature environments as much as possible.

2、 Avoid the influence of high or low temperatures on silicone. The storage temperature of silicone is generally between 10 ℃ and 300 ℃. If it exceeds this range, it will have a certain negative impact on the silicone material. When storing, it is important to choose a relatively stable temperature environment and avoid frequent cooling or heating to prevent liquid layering or crystallization solidification of the silicone gel.
