What if the number of times the silicone mold is flipped is small

Mold silicone is widely used in multiple fields due to its special properties. Generally speaking, mold silicone is composed of five components: base rubber, crosslinking agent, catalyst, filler, and additive. In theory, as long as there are the first three components, mold silicone can be made. However, to obtain a certain strength, "filler" is generally necessary, and "additive" depends on the situation. Many people experience a phenomenon of less mold flipping when using silicone molds, and most of them do not know what is going on or what to do with it. So, what if the number of times the mold is flipped over with silicone? Please continue to read
1: Adding a large amount of silicone oil during the molding process
Some masters add too much silicone oil during the mold making process to make the operation simpler. Due to the damage of silicone oil to the molecular weight of the silicone, the silicone mold has a low number of mold turns.
2: Product does not match hardness
Generally speaking, for small products with complex patterns, if high hardness silicone is used for mold opening, there will be a phenomenon of fewer mold flipping times, because the silicone becomes brittle and easily breaks when it is too hard. Similarly, if you want a large product and use silicone with low hardness for mold opening, because silicone is too soft, its tensile and tear strength will decrease, and the resulting mold will deform, so the number of mold turns will also decrease.
Summary: Generally speaking, there is no distinction between good and bad silicone, only whether it is suitable or not. We need to use silicone that is suitable for the hardness of the product to make the mold, and at the same time, control the addition of silicone oil during the mold making process to avoid the phenomenon of less mold flipping of silicone.
