Production of Silicone Rubber Antique Brick Carving Silicone Mold
Jul 07,2023 Hanast
The process of brick carving production from manual carving to mass production through replication is the development of production technology in the era. Brick carving manufacturers are using a process for mass production of antique brick carving, which is to use silicone rubber molds for mass replication production.
So the production of silicone rubber antique brick carving molds is a headache for many novice manufacturers. Generally, novice manufacturers want to directly send the mold seeds to the silicone manufacturer to help make the molds. However, HANAST silicone is not recommended to use this method for the following reasons: firstly, if the brick carving has a large volume and is not convenient for transportation, it may usually break during transportation; Reason 2: The cost of making molds has increased; Reason three: Brick carving manufacturers cannot master the technology of making molds. In fact, the production of silicone rubber antique brick carving molds is not difficult. Generally, it can be completed by watching operation videos or phone guidance, mainly paying attention to details.
Brief steps for making Wall brick culture stone silicone mold:
① Prepare clean operating tools: knives, brushes, buckets, rulers, scissors, glue, wooden boards or strips, electronic scales;
② Process the mold type, clean the mold type, and fix the mold space position with wooden boards;
③ Place the processed mold seeds in the set mold space position and fix the mold seeds with glue;
④ Spray release agent onto the mold space and mold seed;
⑤ Take out an appropriate amount of silicone and curing agent in a small bucket and mix them. Be sure to weigh them with an electronic scale. Use a condensed silicone with a ratio of 100:2-3 and an added silicone with a ratio of 1:1; Special circumstances can be adjusted;
⑥ Mix the silicone gel evenly and try to mix in the same direction as much as possible to minimize bubbles;
⑦ Stir the evenly stirred silicone gel for vacuum extraction, which is the process of removing bubbles. If a vacuum machine is used, the vacuum is completed when the vacuum gauge pointer points to -0.1mpa;
⑧ Pour or brush the vacuum filled silicone onto the mold, and when using the pouring method, the silicone needs to be 1-2cm higher than the mold; When using painting, it should be done twice separately, and gauze or fiber cloth should be added to increase the silicone light and tension for painting. The outer shell should also be made of gypsum or resin, and the operation should be repeated again;
⑨ Place the prepared silicone mold for 3-5 hours and wait for curing. Do not move the silicone mold while waiting for curing. In order to achieve the best desired effect using a silicone mold, please leave the mold for 24 hours before it is put into operation.
Attention: The tools must be clean during use to prevent impurities from mixing with silicone; Please separate the tools used for additive silicone and condensed silicone; Silicone must be stirred evenly; These points will all affect the curing of silicone. Also, before pouring silicone or applying silicone to the mold, it is necessary to spray release agent to avoid bonding the silicone mold with the mold and making it difficult to release the mold.
